The Old Man pop-up in Bangkok (Now vs Never)

We are thrilled to announce that starting ‪from June 1, 2019‬, “The Old Man” Bar will appear at Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, nestled into the Lobby of the River Wing with a highly-styled “pop-up” concept. Ranked 10th amongst The World’s 50 Best Bars, Head Mixologist Agung Prabowo and his team will fly in from “The Old Man” birthplace in Hongkong and will take turns to visit us to ensure an authentic experience. “The Old Man” will not only bring us a genuine speakeasy setting, but also will re-create a secretive ambience characterized by certain elements of Ernest Hemmingway’s novel, which is the same name as their signature cocktails “The Old Man and the Sea,” “Best of the Old Man,” and “In Our Time,” to name but a few.
